Meetings

The Roseburg Lions meet the first 4 Tuesdays of each month at Kowloon’s Restaurant.  The general meeting begins at 12:00 noon followed by a board meeting as needed. Lunch is ordered off the menu.

Guest Speakers

The 2nd meeting of the month also includes a guest speaker. If you would like to be a guest speaker, please contact Greg Johnson 541-430-4734.

Membership

Come join us at a meeting and check us out, be sure to download the Membership Application. International Lion Membership is open to those of legal majority and good reputation and is by invitation. We have a lot of fun.

Annual Dues: $75 per person.

Scholarships

The Roseburg Umpqua Lions support local Roseburg area high school graduates with three different scholarship awards each year.

  1. The Gregory's and Hobb's Scholarship is granted to one student athlete each year
  2. The Vera Shukle Nursing Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a nursing degree from Umpqua Community College.
  3. The club also offers three Roseburg Umpqua Lions General Scholarships which can be used to pursue college aspirations or for vocational/technical training.

  • Hearing exams and aids for the less fortunate
  • Collecting/Recycling used eye glasses/hearing aids
  • $2,000 in local scholarships

  • Christmas Clothing/Gifts for less fortunate children
  • Christmas food delivery for low income families
